Cryopen

Precise, non-invasive lesion removal.

Cryopen uses a fine, controlled jet of nitrous oxide to freeze benign skin lesions with millimetre precision — treating only the tissue that needs it, with minimal discomfort and no cutting.

How it works

Cryopen delivers an intensely cold, precisely targeted freeze directly to the lesion, causing the treated cells to break down and the lesion to gradually disappear over the following weeks. Because the applicator tip is so fine, treatment is more accurate and generally more comfortable than traditional cryotherapy sprays, with less risk to the surrounding healthy skin.

Most lesions respond within one to three sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, and treatment typically takes only a few minutes per lesion.

Conditions we treat

Cryopen is suitable for a wide range of benign skin lesions, including:

Viral warts Verrucae Seborrhoeic keratosis Actinic keratosis Lentigo / sun damage Telangiectasia Skin tags

All lesions are assessed by our clinician before treatment. If a lesion looks atypical or we have any concerns, we'll recommend further investigation rather than proceeding with cryotherapy.
